ID (Internal Diameter) Spray Coatings

When applying our internal diameter spray coatings, fixtured parts pass through a pre-heater to the first ID gun, which coats the ID of the part as the part spins at its station. Next, an electronic eye verifies that the primer has been properly applied to the ID of the parts before indexing to the second ID gun for top coat. The parts are then cured and moved to an automated final checker to assure that the part is the right one for that particular program, that no parts are mixed, and that the ID coating has been applied to the part. The parts are then placed on an enclosed conveyor and packed into palletized totes for shipping. This PLC controlled coating application machine is truly state of the art!
