At the DECC Company, we are an ISO 9001: 2008 certified coater with a quality management program that utilizes Statistical Process Control (SPC) and continuous improvement. We conform to the CQI-12 coating system assessment which requires a thorough internal audit of our coating process on an annual basis. We strive for excellence and have demanding goals of zero PPM's and 100% on-time delivery because our customer's satisfaction is of the utmost importance. Quality is emphasized in every project handled by DECC to make certain our work meets Automotive, Diesel, FDA, Furniture, Industrial, Medical, Military, and Aerospace / Avionics, and Alternative Energy / Fuel Cell specifications where applicable.
Inspection tests include the following:

Coating Thickness
A test method where the actual coating thickness is measured to ensure that the thickness falls within the tolerances to the part specifications. DECC performs this test using a Fischerscope and a beta backscatter. |

Attribute Gauging

Cure Testing
A test method where the coating surface is evaluated to ensure that it has been properly cured. This is done via chemical rub on the surface of the coating. |

Dimensional Measurement
Two non-destructive measurement devices that DECC uses are calipers and a micrometer. |

Adhesion / Cross Hatch
A test method by which the bond between the coating and the substrate are checked. DECC performs 4 different types of this test:

Phosphate Titration
A scientific test to confirm concentration of the phosphate bath. |
