As functional coating specialists, our business is to be the solution for your business. The DECC Company has the solutions and capabilities to meet your high-volume component coating needs.

Within the automotive industry, protecting the parts on your vehicle is paramount. Just like how regular oil changes help protect your engine from friction and wear, and washing your car helps protect the paint and finish from rust. The GD3430 coating helps protect the tailpipe from corrosion and makes it look good while doing so.

Whether you call them tailpipe tips, exhaust tips, or muffler tips, there are many reasons to apply the Magni GD3430, as we do at The DECC Company, for a high-temperature, corrosion-resistant matte black coating.

Aesthetics
We’ll start with looks because the tailpipe tips are the only part of the exhaust system anyone can see, so it gives us a chance to add some aesthetic appeal along with all the essential functions of a muffler tip coating.

The Magni GD3430 coating is by far, as in almost 100%, the most frequent request we get when it comes to muffler tips. We work on high-volume OEM parts for brand new vehicles, and it’s the starting point for the sleek, attractive black chrome look everyone is seeking, and most parts are moving toward. To be clear, GD3430 is matte black. The black chrome, which is what people see, is a plating process done locally and is completed first. Parts are then sent to DECC for GD3430 application in the inner diameter of the tailpipe.

Corrosion Resistance
Coating muffler tips is not all about looks, though. For the life of your tailpipe, preventing corrosion is essential. Rust hurts everything, and the best way to avoid rust is never to let it begin forming. When we spray the GD3430, the exhaust tips resist corrosion even among extreme temperatures. In fact, the GD3430 coating is heat resistant to 450°C (842°F), extreme enough for the regular use a tailpipe endures.

Within the automotive industry, protecting the parts on your vehicle is paramount. Regular oil changes help protect your engine from friction and wear. Washing your car helps protect the paint and finish from rust. And the GD3430 coating helps protect the tailpipe from corrosion and makes it look good while doing so.
